It’s been a long since my last post… but i’m back !
My today tips is a “simple” one, how to change root password. That mean you’ve been through installation but want to set a more secure password. Log as root and run passwd:
Changing password for user root.
Retype new password:
passwd: all authentication tokens updated successfully.
That it, if your password is not enough strong you will receive a warning “BAD PASSWORD: it is based on a dictionary word”, then if you really want a weak one , add -f in the command line parameter to force the operation.
